Held the Saturday before the beginning of Lent (Saturday 18^th February in 2012), the carnival parade will dazzle you with some of the most elaborate and wonderful costumes you’ll ever see this side of Brazil. Followed by fireworks and live entertainment in the square that will last all night long, if previous years are anything to go by, this is one night in Benidorm that’s worth planning your holiday around.
